Welcome to the NTC Library Blog!

Greetings!
Welcome to "Bookends" the new Library Blog for NTC. This was created for students, faculty and staff to better communicate your needs and ideas for our library. I will periodically post reviews of books and other materials for the library, let you know what books, dvd's, and other materials are new in the library. We will also post messages about library hours and early closings. I will also update you on any events that the library is sponsoring such as our Women's History Month movie night, book signings etc. We will also have an area of recommended reading, please feel free to leave your comments on what books or movies you have seen that we could showcase in that area.
If you have any other suggestions feel free to blog them to me!!

Suggestion: Thoughout my studies in the Nursing program at NTC, we have been assigned group projects and group presentations. Unfortunately, NTC does not have group study/work rooms in the library like those at BSU, or UND where I went to school. If the NTC instructors and administration feel that group projects are important for us students, then NTC should provide better facilities for us at NTC. Currently, we are forced to use the group rooms at BSU or the NTC cafeteria. But I ask you, when you are eating a meal, who wants to listen to a group of Nursing students in the cafeteria working on a bowel disorders project?
